Yasmin - On My Own

I haven't made my mind up with this song. It isn't massively original and the video is a little posey and try-hard at times. However, she's half Iranian, like me, and she has a tattoo of her name in Farsi on the back of her neck. And it's her first video and I imagine her budget isn't huge. So, I'm going to give her a plug anyway.

These beautiful embroidered clutches are "handmade with love in France". As an English literature student these are particularly exciting for me, but they are wonderful regardless of how much a book worm you are. I'd suggest reading the book before buying the clutch for 1087 Euros a pop, though. Or at least read the synopsis on Wikipedia...

This is James Blake. His much anticipated debut album is going to be released on 7th February. Aren't we all mighty lucky! He has a gorgeous voice. Watch out for him this year.
